"Normally Everts is great, but today I'm having to rank them low on the customer service scale. On October 20th, 2023 at 3:35pm, a young gal asked if I needed help with a noodle bowl in her hand. I said yes, I have a pallet in my box truck. She walked to the door, looked out, she walked away. I stood waiting for about 10 mins, when even another customer said, "I thought you were being helped?" I responded, "So did I. Apparently not. I'll wait for your guy, I guess." At least the guy helping the other customer decided to help me. I'll update my rating when the customer service comes back I guess. Next time young lady, don't ask the customer if we need help if you're not willing to help."
"We use air cargo services weekly and not one item lost. Open late and easy to arrange with. Thanks!"
"Called for some rates to the villages and all I got was condescending reply's. The lady I was speaking with to get a quote basically expected me to know what services and what destinations they fly to. We used to use Everts for years. It's gone so far down hill. Even the people accepting the freight just have an attitude. They expect us to know all of their rules and regulations for shipping. It's like a chore for them to help you out."
"We had roofing material brought to Everts air cargo in Anchorage on Saturday. This was supposed to be put on the Monday morning flight but was not. My husband than called and spoke to an employee who said she would ask for it to be put on the next flight, but again it did not arrive. Called and spoke to a supervisor and paid extra for priority shipping, it arrived and the employee refused to look it up with the airway bill because it had not been “checked in “ at 5 pm nobody answered the phone! We will Never used them again terrible customer service!"
"We sent about 7 totes full of our belongings via Everts from Unalakleet to Anchorage. We were told the totes, including two freeze totes, would arrive Friday morning in Anchorage. We arrived Friday evening in Anchorage to find out our belonging had been rerouted to Fairbanks and would come in via truck Saturday morning. The customer service agent proceeded to tell us next time wait until we call, no apology, no "I'm sorry about the inconvenience." Mind you we had not received a phone call and it was late Friday evening. No worries though, we are flexible. Saturday we waited for a call with no response. We called Anchorage and were told they did not have our totes and were unsure where they were but would call once they located them. Two hours passed and no call, we called again and had little to no luck and were beginning to get worried. A few hours later we called once again and finally received a somewhat answer that our totes were possibly in Fairbanks but they were closed and would not be open until Monday. We were assured we would be phoned Monday once our belongings were found. Monday came and no one called. We called Anchorage again and received no answers. We decided to finally call Fairbanks ourselves who were more than happy to help, found our belonging, and told us when they would arrive. Thank you to the customer service women in Fairbanks! Today we picked up our belongings which was a hassle in its own and could not be completely located for 30 minutes.....We opened our freeze totes to unload and found ALL of the fish, crab, and berries we had subsisted for during the summer COMPLETELY thawed. Everts, this is ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. When someone sends their belongings, in our case as we were moving our most valuable belongings, with you, they should be able to find them AND be returned in the same state as when they were sent. ABSOLUTELY unacceptable. Do Better. Sincerely, Someone who will never fly cargo with you again."
