"Where to start at Talon Lodge?! Emaculate grounds, warm and inviting lodge, outstanding culinary experiences and a hospitality team that is unmatched! To be honest, the staff is a reason in itself to visit here! Incredible from the meeting at the dock to the departure from the lodge. Friendly, excited, attentive…they make you feel like you’ve stayed there 100 times before. From the dining service, to the deckhands and boat captains, all were amazing! I even had the pleasure of speaking with the culinary team who were renowned chefs, true to their craft, delivering a one of a kind 4 course dining experience night after night. Unbelievable! Not to mention creative breakfast offerings to start your day and a chef prepared lunch with homemade soup on the boat. But behind this whole experience are two incredible hosts, Phil and Gwen, who know the true meaning of hospitality. There family and staff live for your enjoyment and it shows every step of the way. PS. The fishing is outstanding too!"

"My family and I had booked this experience at Talon Lodge and Spa in June 2022 and I can honestly say , it was worth the wait and exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were extremely comfortable, and the view was amazing. From Off - Shore fishing to Fly Fishing and hiking, we did not want the days to end. The Staff was professional, courteous, and fun, always on point. The Chefs were unbelievably talented , they accommodated our sons food allergies. The meals, pastries, and wine pairings were actually what we were looking for. I have been recommending Talon to many friends and clients already. "Apple Island where Talon Lodge is nestled is magical along with all that nature provides. Stunning vistas, magnificent sunsets, majestic eagles gathering on the rocks, its peaceful bliss. My husband and I have been coming to Talon Lodge each year since 2015 becoming our most favorite place to return year after year it never disappoints nor ceases to amaze us. Talon is first class with exceptional friendly staff, amazing chefs who prepare exceptional gourmet food, sharing their recipes fish preparing techniques with all the guests. The captains and deck hands, all of them are the best, most experienced fisherman, there to help you catch your fish and make it the most enjoyable experience. For the the seasoned fishermen and fisherwomen to the first timers, everyone comes home to Talon each day with a smile and a story to share at the bar. Did I mention the gorgeous deck bar, warming fireplaces and massage pavilion too! Gwen and Phil Younger have created a paradise with their family, making each nights dining experience fun, and ending the last day with everyone having made at least one or two new friends. We Highly recommend Talon Lodge for families, singles and everyone in between. No-one beats them!"
