"It's been a few weeks ago since we took our family pictures here. The pictures were very disappointing. I received about 18 pictures in comparison to the last time where I received over 30 pictures. I got to choose my favorite pictures last time and this time I did not. So I called the one who took the photos and she said that it is a policy that they put the set together for customers. Which doesn't make sense because as a customer you should be able to choose your favorite pictures. Then she said that she would go over the policy with me and give me a call back in which she didn't. Considering the high price and how special the occasion is there is a lot that needs to be worked on and improved."

"Really frustrating! I had day of pictures scheduled - 2 of us flying in from out of town and they were backed up three hours because of being understaffed. So we re scheduled and went back on another day - had a fun experience and order the biggest package to give as CHRISTMAS gifts to family. It's March and half of our order has still not been received. I have talked to their corporate office and was told to call UPS because the package was missing . UPS said call the shipper to have them start a claim. I contacted Shutterfly and finally the store its self. After a couple conversations with the manager I felt confident it was being resolved - in February. Week later and I never heard back . Still no resolve - photos taken Dec 21 - it's March 12 and still nothing !"

"Took my family in to get photos mid December and the photographer was unexperienced and the place smelled like body odor. She did not try to coordinate anyone. I was the one doing all the coordinating and ended up with no family photos. So disappointed and do not recommend taking family pictures here at all. I use to love this place, but will not be going back anytime soon!"

"I'm so heart broken, and I can't recommend JCP Studio anymore because of it. I brought my 18yr old best friend (fur baby) in to get pictures, ones that we were sure would be the only professional pictures and his last. I picked the best day for the least traffic, scheduled the best time for an appt. Packed both dogs and myself in outer best outfits and came in for pictures. It was November, so things were busy anyway, but I waited an hour past our time slot, only to be told it would be at least 45 more. I had to give up and go home. Handling two dogs amongst the crazy over booked waiting area was impossible. There were no seats and kids screaming everywhere. The old man couldn't take anymore stress. I brought him home after booking an appt two weeks away, the soonest they had, and it was not meant to be. He passed away a few days later, and we never got those important pictures. I will never forget the feeling that left me with. I know it's just another picture to you guys, but your over booking and crazy understaffing created a hole that can't be filled. ~Great Sadness~"

"We just had our family pictures taken here. We have a two year old, who was very two that day and a 2 month old who happened to be a bit fussy during pictures. I, of course, had my parent expectations - wanting adorable, happy, perfect family pictures! LOL - Our children had different thoughts about the picture day expectations for sure. I was nervous, however the photographer took her time, was great with the kids, and kept checking in with me to make sure she captured what we were looking for. The pictures came out great! She did a wonderful job and we are grateful for these pictures that are already treasured! Thank you!"
