"I had surgery 1-24-23 for a sinus infection on my left side that was really bad. I highly recommend this surgery center. The staff were just simply the best.! From the receptionist to the back. They made me feel cared for and safe. I woke up in extreme pain and my nurse was on it! She helped me through it all and was extremely compassionate. Her fellow nurses came in to see what they could do to help, even though I was not their patient. I cannot remember my nurses name at the end, I believe it started with an A and she was just amazing! I hope you are recognized from this post! I really hope management knows what an outstanding team they have a treat them as such. Thank you Alaska Surgery Center for taking care of me when I was just miserable!"

"This was my second time as a patient at the Alaska Surgery Center. Just as I encountered the first, the staff were very pleasant and caring. It is a cheerful facility with ample parking, which all help make a stressful situation easier on the patient and family. I hope management recognizes what great staff they have at this place!"

"Have your doctor use another surgical center if at all possible! The medical staff was great to worth with; however, the administrative side turned everything into an extremely stressful experience for our entire family before and after the procedure (which is already an extremely stressful experience under the best of circumstances). Before the surgery we asked for an itemized estimate and was not able to get one. They then asked to be paid several thousand dollars within 72 hours before the procedure. Afterward, we find out from our insurance company that Alaska Surgery Center attempted to overcharge us by a lot of money when pressuring us to pre-pay right before surgery for an amount that they wouldn’t breakdown for us when previously asked. Maybe ours was a one-off experience; however, there is no way to know which is why I will try to warn everyone I know to watch out or use another facility to avoid the predatory billing practices that we experienced."

"The staff here is helpful, happy, and cheerful. From first walking in you'll notice a nice and spacious waiting area. The front desk receptionist was very helpful when checking in. Everyone he is friendly and will joke back with you - made me relax even more before surgery. Everything is done efficiently here and everything is discussed thoroughly making sure you understand. The facility is about a year old and has been kept very cleaned and maintained. I'm not saying I want to go through another surgery, but if I do I hope my surgeon using this facility."
