"On vacation in Alaska and had to take the opportunity to shoot some landings in a Cessna 172 to make Alaska the 47th state I have landed a small plane in. Planned a round robin from Merrill up to Palmer and then across to Turnagain Arm via Lake George. Weather was perfect, wind in the mountains non-existent (thank you Baby Jesus). Took CFI Evan along to forgo the rental checkout.
