"Miller Cabin is closed in the winter. You can see it from the road, and you can watch the giant elk herd from the road behind the cabin in the winter. When it reopens in the spring/summer, we're definitely going to tour it."
"The picturesque Miller House was the residence of Robert and Grace Miller. Robert bought the cabin in Jackson in 1885 and began ranching. In 1902, he became supervisor of the Teton Forest Reserve. The Miller ranch later became the core of the National Elk Refuge, and the Miller House as its original headquarter. The house is closed in the winter."
"As a local resident this is the perfect place for us to take a four to five mile walk as we walk past the Miller House it's always beautiful. This is where the locals usually hang out during those really ugly winter days where all the trails are kind of deep and snow."
"Nice cool old cabin inside the Elk Refuge. It is closed for visitors but you can see it from the road and take photos. Originally owned by Robert E. Miller who was the first supervisor of the Teton National Forest. It was later bought by the Fish and Wildlife Service including the 1240 acres of land to help the elk winter range."
