"We Got our boy Argos (FKA Zippy/Zipper) from AARF! We love him so much, he's a sweet little guy! The adoption clinic was straightforward and easy to work through, although very different form what I'm used to with a normal shelter."
"AARF is a wonderful dog rescue. When you attend an adoption event you can see the love and care each person puts into this program. They really care about finding the dogs their right home. I’m sure they’ve seen every scenario and learn from it. It was great to watch and learn the process. I’ve been looking for the right pup for over a year now. They let me bring my other dog to meet the pup I was interested in. So thankful that it all worked out. The foster family was there to tell me the good, the bad and what to expect. I really appreciate all the time everyone puts into this program. Thank you so much for loving the pups!"
"AARF dogs are lucky to have these volunteers rooting for them and working hard to find them the right furever homes! The adoption application is intensive but I think the ones truly looking for a best bud will do it! Tip: submit application early and have it approved and when you find a buddy you like, it'll be so much smoother and quicker! Bev & Sara were super accommodating to meet with us, thank you ladies!"
"We adopted our sweet pup from AARF 9 months ago and are so happy we did. We went to meet another dog, but he got adopted before we had a chance to meet him. We talked with the volunteers about our family (elderly dog, 1 cat, 3 kids,) and what we were looking for in a new dog that would be a good fit. Right away they told us a couple of the dogs we mentioned were not good with cats. They were all friendly and very helpful in deciding which dogs would be good with our family. We were able to meet, love on, and do a short walk with 3 of the dogs. They were all so sweet and I hope the other two found great families by now, but our boy just seemed like he picked us. He's been a great addition to our family and we wouldn't have found him without AARF."
"We had a puppy in mind that we were interested and wrote to AARF about her. They responded saying that puppy was spoken for already, but encouraged us to fill out an application and come to an adoption event to see the other puppies. Once there, the foster parents of the puppies were around to talk about each puppy. We fell in love with one and the rest is history! They did a home check to make sure the puppy was going to a safe place. They care a lot about their dogs and we had a great experience. Now I have THE best dog I could’ve possibly asked for. Very thankful for AARF."
