This 18,000-square-foot facility will serve as the camp's main building, offering a grand hall, training rooms, and areas for merit badge achievement. Thousands of Boy Scouts, leaders, and young women will gather here for training and fellowship. The lodge is named after President Monson in recognition of his decades-long support of Scouting and his numerous awards in the field. The construction costs are covered by the Sorenson Legacy Foundation, ensuring that President Monson's legacy lives on in this camp. In addition to the lodge, future improvements at the Hinckley Scout Ranch include new pavilions, restrooms, water reservoirs, and shooting ranges.
