"Good place to buy a fashionable Seawoles t-shirt or souvenir. Located in Alaska Center, the North end"
"Overpriced but are good with returns and will buy your books back sometimes. I heard the employees aren't allowed to study when it's slow. I think they should be able to read a book when they aren't helping people like most UAA jobs."
"I wondered around in here looking for my college books with my friends and no one bugged us, we didn't want help so we didn't ask. After we found them we were able to just sit in the coffee area even though the coffee shop itself was closed (all one room.) The lighting was nice and the chairs were comfy."
"Every business need help of new books so every book store and library can shelf requested book. So please help UAA campus bookstore instead. Be always kind. We work together and grow together. We are all from same galaxy. Cheers!"
"I work in customer service, so I know the difference between great and poor customer service. I'm empathetic, so I am respectful and polite when I encounter a customer service representative. When I came in to return a book, instead of getting a polite "sorry, you missed the return window" I felt like I was being reprimanded. I left and called and talked to a more polite employee who gave me helpful information. I came back and encountered, who I assume is the manager, and she was cold and disconnected. Again I felt like I was being reprimanded. I was at the counter looking at my phone when she says "when you're at the counter, it's you and me; no phone." Excuse me? Are you my mother? Do you control other people's actions? No. If I want to be on my own personal device while you're typing at a computer, I will do exactly that. Poor customer service. For the money students pay for tuition and books, we should be getting great service. The student employees are all great, they just have some poor management I guess."
