Reviews of Latitude 43 Apartments
"Lived at Blair for a year. My experience with the former management was great! They got me into an apartment much faster than originally estimated from the wait list, and the woman who helped me was really nice. The new management that bought the complex near the end of my time there…yikes. At the time, I was getting rental assistance from One22 (they’d mail a check to the apartment complex office). Got home from work one day to an eviction notice. When I asked management, they said it was because I hadn’t paid my full rent. One22 accidentally misaddressed the check (I don’t blame them, they’re awesome and helped me a lot!) and the new management (hi Jeremiah!) was not understanding at all. I had to come up with over $500 within 3 days…which, when you are already getting rental assistance because you don’t have much money, is pretty hard and extremely stressful. They also blocked off parts of the parking lot without warning in the middle of the day (for various sidewalk projects) and if you weren’t home to move your car, you got ticketed. Not to mention the major fire in the building across from mine that created huge holes that management just left there. The response was also pretty scary…I happened to look out the window and see massive flames and left the building. Fire trucks were arriving but nobody had come to evacuate us. Sketch. New management also wanted to charge residents for ridiculous stuff like laundry room electricity…when the lights in there were permanently on and we already paid to do laundry. Thank you for coming to my TED talk."
"The maintenance guys are the best and that’s the only reason they get 2 stars, otherwise, the office seems in way over their head to manage a property this size. The snow plowing is non-existent, it’s been 3-4 days since it last snowed and the parking spots have not been plowed, which causes it to turn to ice and then pulling into or out of a parking spot just about breaks your shocks. And now it’s to late to even plow it effectively To the 5 star review that says the plowing is the best it’s ever been has obviously not lived here when old management was here, or it’s just a fake review. It was just posted that a 1 bedroom was available for $4,000 and we don’t get basic services. Edit: they have gotten better since this post."
"I have lived at many different spots in Jackson and this is by far the best place I’ve ever lived. The snow removal is by far the best it’s ever been and the landscaping here is beautiful. The staff here is super friendly as well. It’s a bit expensive but such is to be expected living in Jackson."
"Rent used to be affordable until a California property management company bought it out and quadrupled it. Staff is pretty cool- I love the maintenance guys. Apartments are alright, but I’m paying $2600/mo for an old one bedroom with stained carpeting. I saw a bear once run through the complex though- that was interesting."
"The manager Jeremiah is awesome and has always helped when needed. But really the grounds and property is what sets this place apart, you don't feel like you're on top of each other and there is so much land to run around on with dogs and beautiful trees! Could you find a cheaper place? Maybe but if you moved to Jackson to experience nature, all you need to do is step out the front door or onto your deck"
