The people that work here are almost magical in their delight in making sure you are having a good time. We tried to do as much as we could of the activities planned and it was so much fun. We have already decided to return for a week next year with our friends."

"My family and I stayed here and absolutely loved our experience. The food was phenomenal, loved our cozy cabin, and the activities were plenty to do and so much fun. We had two boys age 6 and 9 and they loved their experiences riding horses as well as the fun other things to try like lassoing, axe throwing, and archery. I loved the flexibility of the itinerary, we were able to take the final afternoon to go fishing and each day Mike and Betsy were happy to shift as we wanted to. I would highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a great family vacation in a remote location with great experiences!"

"My husband & I loved our week at Shoshone Lodge & Guest Ranch! I was a little anxious about the horseback riding, even though I've done it before, but they did a great job of choosing horses for us. I ended up participating in the planned rides every chance I had, as opposed to only riding once (like I thought I would). There are about 22 young adults who serve as wranglers, cooks, housekeepers, fire builders/tenders, waiting tables, and on & on. Someone was always available to help us with whatever we needed. They stayed busy constantly with a smile, a positive attitude, and the obvious intent to make us feel safe and comfortable. All the activities available were fun and family-friendly. The ranch is 5 minutes from the east gate to Yellowstone National Park, and visiting the park is an option for you from the Ranch. So it's great opportunity to do so! They provided all the transportation to planned activities off the ranch in very comfortable passenger vans. The food was delicious, and the cabin was comfortable. The cost of the week's stay at the ranch was all-inclusive. Laundry facilities were also available at no cost to us and greatly appreciated! Betsy & Mike Christiansen (owners) are a fantastic couple with two children, and the ranch has always been run by Mike's family, so there is some great history involved. Out of all the dude/guest ranches available in the area, we have no regrets for having chosen Shoshone. I highly highly recommend it!"

"We just returned from a week at Shoshone Lodge and the overall experience far exceeded our expectations!!! Mike and Betsy were great hosts and very accommodating to make sure that we would get the most our of our stay. The food was delicious, the trail rides were fun, the trips to Yellowstone were great! All of these items were included in our package as well as a river raft trip, rodeo and dinner show. There were plenty of other activities to keep our group of 8 entertained and we all agreed that it was a fantastic vacation. I also need to mention that the staff was very friendly and helpful too! I highly recommend Shoshone Lodge for a family or couple who want to experience a fun way to vacation!!!"
