Canyon Campground

"We spend one night there on our RV trip. The showers were good and included and there is a laundry. We loved the cafeteria. We had a nice cup of coffee and breakfast. It was quiet at night and we saw a lots of stars."

"Loved this location - great bear boxes and proximity to Canyon Village. Also enjoyed the showers (included in the fee). We were inside a loop but felt like we had plenty of room in between sites."

"Showers are included in the reservation which is nice. They also have laundry machines but I didn’t see them. Sites are well-maintained and the location is great. Campground is huge, so not the most private sites if that’s what you’re looking for."

"Pretty nice campground. Convenient location for those wanting to spend time around the canyon or drive up to Lamar Valley. Lots of space and privacy between sites. Check-in is open pretty late, which is welcome. Connectivity was pretty poor. Cell service was not great on AT&T. No wireless internet available at the main building. Showers were reasonably clean, as were the bathrooms."

"Will not recommend. Arrived at the campground after 3:00 pm. Check out is at 11:00 am and check in is 2:00. They double booked the site they assigned us to. It took 3 trips back to the registration building (towing our trailer because we had nowhere to unhook) to just get a new site assigned that was in absolutely no way suitable for our 26' trailer plus truck. When we put our slide out, it was out in the road. The family in our first assigned site did not have to vacate. We were much happier, comfortable, and less stressed in other campgrounds within Yellowstone. We definitely will not be camping here again."
