"The historical house was a wonderful place to stay. The hosts were kind and helpful. They shared great stories about the history of Gardiner. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. I would stay there again."
"My adult son and I stayed here for a winter visit to Yellowstone NP in January 2023.We were warmly greeted by Nancy and Richard. Our rooms were clean and comfortable, but the best was the breakfast and the super friendly hosts. Every morning we shared a delicious home-made breakfast with Richard and Nancy. We stayed for 3 nights, then spent 2 nights in Yellowstone, then came back to spend 2 more nights, which is referred to as "bookend guests". Nancy prepared a plentiful, different breakfast each morning at the time convenient to our schedule. Richard is VERY knowledgeable in the history of the area and Yellowstone. He is more than willing to share his knowledge with visitors and has great stories to tell. Gardiner is a small, quiet town with a few restaurants within walking distance even in the winter. My only regret is we did not have enough time to sit and relax with Richard and Nancy at breakfast. Every morning we had to "eat and run" due to our scheduled Yellowstone tours. A great place to stay any time of the year."
"My husband and I stayed at Gardiner Guest House B&B in May of this year. This is the most pleasant place!! Richard and Ms Nance are very nice and thoughtful. Our room was like being at home…exceptionally clean and fresh. Our breakfast was delicious and variety was so nice. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to come back! We walked around in the town and enjoyed the local bison burger!! Yum!!"
"There isn't a better place to stay in order to experience the North Entrance (Mammoth Hot Springs) of Yellowstone National Park and the town of Gardiner MT. Our accomodations were clean, homey and comfortable and I had one of the best breakfasts that I ever had. Will definitely stay here again when we return to Yellowstone."
"Ms. Nance and Richard, Thank you so much for your most gracious and caring hospitality during our stay at the Gardiner Guest House B&B. The accommodations were simply perfect, accommodating, and comfortable. The breakfasts were home crafted, varied and delicious. The conversations were informational, intriguing and fun. We loved hearing about how you two met! We really enjoyed all the wonderful and informative conversations we had with you each morning. Your knowledge of the area, Yellowstone, and so many other intriguing subjects was both fascinating and invaluable. Staying in Gardiner, just across from Yellowstone National Park, was unbelievable. Seeing Elk grazing at the confluence of the Gardiner and Yellowstone Rivers just a few blocks from your B&B each evening was exciting. Hearing about the Bison, Elk, Antelopes, and once even a mountain lion, roaming the streets in town was unbelievable and exciting. Our visit to Park’s Fly Shop was so educational. From learning how flies are handmade to the treks the fishermen make to arrive at the best fishing locations (which constantly change) made us really appreciate that fly fishing is so much more than just a hook and worm experience. The value of expert local knowledge and how fishing conditions vary from day to day piqued our interest. We will have to try it the next time we visit! We even purchased a homemade Royal Wolf fishing fly from Richard in preparation. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity during our visit. We are telling everyone we know about the Gardiner Guest House B&B and that they must stay with you when they visit Yellowstone or wish to have a special fly-fishing experience with a local expert. Most sincerely, David and Barbara Missouri, USA"
