"Main Lodge has two hot tubs (indoor and outdoor) open until 10 p.m. indoor and outdoor connected pools. Beautiful architecture and views of surrounding mountains. Great continental breakfast! Walking distance to downtown."

"Overall great but the rooms are a little dated. Probably also not the best choice for a clean freak. There were many small hairs on the carpet, hard to see, most likely from a pet. Peeling paint and discolored caulk in the bathroom. Nothing bad, just a little unsightly. Good breakfast, pool, hot tub, short walk from everything, tons of parking, attentive housekeeping."

"We usually stay at the Antler but I stayed at the Elk country Inn this last trip to Jackson Hole and it is really a nice hotel. The breakfast is basic but varied and fine. Beds are very comfortable. The rooms are bit rustic but that’s Jackson Hole so it’s cool. The only complaint I had was the pool being too cold to really enjoy. I think if a place goes through all the trouble of having an indoor outdoor pool It should be at least upper 70s and not lower 70s to swim in. Even the kids had a hard time swimming in it. Meanwhile, the indoor hot tub was way too hot, like 104. The outdoor hot tub is really the only place I could hang out. The Staff are really great and it makes a big difference that they stay open for breakfast a little later than the posted time. We really appreciated the extra 15 minutes. The shuttle to Jackson Hole ski area is such a great convenience. I’m pretty sure I will stay at this hotel next time I go."

"We had a great stay here! The rooms were very clean and spacious. The main entrance was beautiful and well decorated for the holidays. The pool area is definitely worth mentioning as well! It’s an indoor/outdoor with a glass garage door separating it. The only downside here was having to walk outside from your room to get to the pool area. Staff were all very friendly and helpful."

"Fantastic location; staff was friendly; gorgeous main building with great amenities; breakfast selection was extensive and the food was fresh. We stayed in the building adjacent to the main building and I loved seeing all the old photographs throughout the property. The adjacent building is considerably dated though; no elevators, dark throughout the building and rooms. The rooms were a decent size however. It was less than ideal having to go across the way to the main building to access amenities like the pool during inclement weather, then to have to go back wet in the cold. Obviously nothing can be done about this set up, but try to get a room in the main building for a better experience."
