"The owners/operators were what made our stay memorable. Wonderful people make a huge difference! Nicest, most affordable (for us) place near Yellowstone. Hope they stay in business for another hundred years!"

"Stayed in one of the six motel rooms. Kindergarten sized toilet and sink. A/C fan ran all the time and the compressor kicked in and out. Liked that but didn't like the strange noise the fan made. Has an interesting floor in the bathroom area and thought the smoke detector was in a strange place. Showerhead was for people under 5 foot. Has a mini refrigerator and microwave. Bed was too hard for the wife, but okay for me."

"Great little place and the staff was nice, but I had a problem with wifi. The sign was placed in a position that was in a corner blocked by the night stand. I tried taking it off since I thought it would just be stuck with tape but apparently it was glued on since the dry wall came directly with it. I had not been the first one to try this because the sign was already half ripped off. The actual password was long which isn't bad on its own but letters were capitalized when they were supposed to be lowercase. I'd still recommend but be careful with the sign."

"Lovely place, reasonable prices, RIGHT next to the grocery store, and an absolutely great host. Came here out of necessity and ended up staying an extra night as it was so pleasant. If I ever find myself in Ashton again I would stay here again in a heartbeat."

"Our family of 7 (2 adults and 5 children from ages 12 to 1) stayed in the farmhouse at the Rankin Motel. It was fabulous. We really loved it. We spent most of our time at Yellowstone, but wished we could've had more time to just stay around Ashton and play around the farmhouse and relax. There was plenty of room for us, with some to spare. I was really impressed with the cleanliness. I am quite a clean person, to a fault. I felt completely comfortable here, even letting the baby crawl around on the floor. There were little details about the accommodations that I noticed they do to make their guests feel comfortable. We were left with nothing wanting. The only thing that we seemed to desire was a washing machine for our clothes. It was really fine though because we only stayed three nights. We can't wait to stay again in the future."
