"I want to start this off by saying, I love this ranch with all my heart. It truly is home, not only to me, my wife, and my baby, but to hundreds of not thousands of people that come here and leave with tears in their eyes waving good bye. I want to say that the people that come to this ranch come because they also love it with all their heart. I can’t explain how much work and sweat and blood and tears has been put into this place, and the Puckett family make it happen. I have now been coming to this ranch for 6 summers in a row and I wouldn’t ever want that to stop. From the food, to the old fashioned cabins, rustic in everyday, but somehow still feel warm and right at home. And the best riding in the country.I truly believe that you will not find a better riding program in these here United States. From flat meadows to 10,000 ft mountains. There’s nothing like it. Wanna cross water? See a lake? Kurt always knows where to send you. Ride through fields of wild flowers. Quizzing your wrangler as you go. The history of this ranch and the country you get to see is so unique that one has to experience it to believe it. And to truly get the cowboy or cowgirl experience, I would definitely recommend a week or longer. From fly fishing on the notorious Gallatin river, to hiking or riding in the mountains, this is the best place to be! This ranch truly will set you back in time of how it used to be. And show what it really takes to live and ride in the mountains of Montana."

"I just got home from a week at the Covered Wagon Ranch with my husband and brother in law. From the minute we arrived and greeted by Jessica we felt like family! Kurt, Melissa and the staff at the Covered Wagon treat everyone like family. The food was excellent and the cabins felt like home! We came to ride horses and that's what we did everyday. The staff matched us with the perfect horses for our personality! Wrangler Dan did not disappoint us at all with our beautiful rides everyday all day. From the Wranglers, ranch hands kitchen staff to housekeeping everyone greeted us with a smile and treated us like family! We met people from all over the country and enjoyed everyone's company!! We can not wait to come back!!"

"I just returned from my stay at Covered Wagon Ranch. I am still reminiscing about the time I spent there. If you want an authentic ranch experience this is the place to go. I have been lucky enough to see many beautiful places, but my vacation at CW Ranch was my favorite. The owners Kurt and Melissa, as well as Braxton and Sawyer are wonderful people. I cannot say enough great things about my time there. All of the Staff is friendly and helpful, cabins are cozy, and the food is delicious and plentiful. The Horses are beautiful. I enjoyed having meals with the owners, staff and other guests. Grooming and spending extra time with my horse was fun. Everyone and everything was perfect! One of my favorite moments was when My horse joined me for lunch by putting his muzzle in my hat. He had a fun personality and made me laugh. I cannot wait to visit again next year! "My family of 5 (kids 8/6/4) had a wonderful time at Covered Wagon Ranch. Even though we are novice riders the owners and crew did a fantastic job of pairing my wife and kids and I with the perfect horses and trail rides. Our kids had an amazing time riding, eating, meeting lots of new friends, and exploring outside. The cabins are rustic and comfortable, the food is fantastic, and the company is even better. The ranch is ideally located between Bozeman and Yellowstone directly across the road from the Gallatin River if you desire to partake in off ranch activities."
