"Feels like a throwback motel that is still in decent shape. No fancy frills or such but it was a cool retro feeling place to stay for a quick night. Price was affordable for what we needed. The breakfast wasn’t really there/available when we were there. They might not resupply the breakfast station area much when not many guests are around. There is a really classic diner right next door with really friendly service. Would stay here again."
"I had a nice, clean and spacious room. An older, cool, well maintained motel for a great price."
"Advertised room for 60 Dollars. Payed around 76. Dollars with taxes but booked it through a booking company's ended up costing me 104 dollars what a rip off Bathroom sink barely dribbled water into the sink .the shower was hard to get to work .some of the plumbing was backwards then hard to turn on and off. When you tried to turn the water off the handle would start unscrewing ,but the water would stay on .the heater had one setting, but was about right for us. Had a little spare heater that squalled like a mashed cat when you turned it on. Suppose to have a continental breakfast, but didn't even have coffee, and the stuff that was there didn't look fit to eat. The bed was good, place was quiet. O"
"EDIT: Updated to five stars to reflect redecorated rooms. Great pet friendly family-owned motel offering a convenient stay at a decent price. The building itself kind of reminds me of a 1970s dorm. We stay here when traveling cross country, and we like being able to drive right up to the room to load out our luggage - no main door, stairs and then room door to negotiate with mounds of luggage and a dog. Another thing we like is that they don't give you those little plastic bottles of shampoo, they use dispensers instead, saving the world hundreds of pounds of plastic waste every year. I want to support that. One of the rooms we stayed in had a chronic leak in the bath tub faucet and the carpet was a little scary, but I think that they have upgraded all of the rooms since that time. The rooms are HUGE. It is almost funny how enormous the rooms are for a motel. Outside of the room, there's a little designated dog area for walkies. There's also a nice little seating area with a decent complimentary breakfast, though if we have time, we eat at Jody's, the diner next door, which is awesome. Friendly, accommodating folks at the desk. We never stay anywhere else."
