"Nice rooms, friendly staff, we especially appreciate the gentleman working this morning 10/15 (I forgot to ask his name, French accent I believe). He was very kind, patient with all our questions, provided great details about places to check out near Old Faithful. The free breakfast has a lot of the same things you’d find at many other places (better cereal options), but the quality is much better than most we’ve experienced. We always expect a certain amount of noise staying in a room, but even the noise was less than most places we’ve stayed in. Definitely recommend Crosswinds if you’re planning to stay in West Yellowstone."

"Rooms clean and unique to region. A little noisy due to type of construction. You can hear heavy footed occupants above your room and doors slamming shut. Bring eat plugs if you are a lite sleeper. Breakfast was very good upon arriving at open, 6AM. Plenty to satisfy all palette types. Front desk helpful and considerate. We left as clean as we came so tipping not needed. Our fridge was unplugged when we arrived so it would be nice if room attendants would make sure everything is ready for next guest. Otherwise would give 5 stars."

"One night stay, rooms were clean and quiet, service outstanding when I asked for a 1st floor room no issues since there is no elevator. Breakfast is great. A little pricey for room but it is a tourist based town. Stayed in mid-September so the town of West Yellowstone was very busy, almost impossible to get into a restaurant without a wait."

"SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE! Crosswinds Inn was the perfect place to stay when visiting Yellowstone Park. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The rooms have been redone and are very clean comfortable. The staff was all exceptional! Friendly front desk staff, our room was turned over everyday and the breakfast was amazing! Eggs, bacon, homefries, pancakes, fruit, bagels, yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, and juice! It was quite a spread! The gentleman taking care of the breakfast area was restocking and cleaning to keep everything filled. Such a great team ... We will definitely be back."

"Location, location, location. That's what we got for nearly $300 a night. That and a very good breakfast. The scrambled eggs were unusually moist and fluffy ... better than most. On the downside, our room was small, old, dark and cramped. We had a 2-queen unit; a single queen might have been roomier. There were barely enough power outlets for our chargers. Lots of pillows, but uncomfortable. No convenient desk/writing surface. Bottom line: The facilities were adequate but unexceptional. The price bought a convenient location but I'm pretty sure we could have done just as well in town or nearby for considerably less."
