"Stio would not accept an exchange on a brand new shirt with receipt and tags because it was a few months old. This company operates more like J.Crew with seasonal fashions rather than a serious outdoors company that stands behind their products. Another customer lost."

"Horrible customer service. Returned a jacket in early December. They received the return and never credited me. No one picks up the phone at customer service and no live chat agents? Be very careful shopping with these guys. Update: Immediately after posting this, Stio contacted me and took care of the error. I still think this company has a long way to go in terms of their customer service. But in fairness to them I wanted to update the review and add a star."

"Worst customer service! You place an order online that shows that it is available, they charge your card, and then 11 days later the item still has not shipped and the only way you know is by contacting them via email. No one answers the phone or calls back. They will not let you cancel the order even though it hasn't shipped and has no known ship date. They inform you that you have to wait indefinitely for the item, ship it back (which will take another two weeks) and then wait for them to scan it in..and then wait another ten days to process. Seriously? They want to hold your money for over 45+ days for an item you tried to cancel. On their site, there are only stellar product reviews and no mention of delays...MMMMM. I read some interviews with the founder, Stephen Sullivan and he claims to be so "hands on". Clearly he has not tried to order his own products recently."

"Buyer beware of purchasing anything online from this store. I ordered 2 jackets for approximately $300. They were not the quality I would expect for the price and they didn't fit right. I returned them 3 weeks ago and have a tracking receipt they received it over 2 weeks ago. No refund yet, or even an email that they received it. I have also left 3 messages at the customer service line, which nobody ever answers, and sent an email with no reply. This is my last effort to get their attention. I am not alone as there are a ton of reviews on Yelp with the same experience. And they can't blame COVID, a lot of those are from over a year ago."
