"Our son and I attended this guide school. We met excellent current, and future fly fishing guides. I personally learned a great deal and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. The course is worthwhile. You’ll gain knowledge on drift boat control, legalities of the industry, and various fly fishing techniques. This exposure to many different seasoned guide fishing techniques is worth its weight, no doubt. We definitely came back more aware of what to do while guiding or just fishing on our own."
"Can’t say enough good things about the shop management and personnel, the guides (all of them) and the Guide School. Their knowledge, professionalism and camaraderie of all things fly fishing is second to none! If you want to get a jump start on becoming a fly fishing guide…do yourself and your future clients a favor and sign up with Montana Fishing Guide School."
"Went to the guide school March of 2021. It was an extremely educational course. I would have had to spend a year or more working in a shop just to put a dent in the amount of knowledge that was dished out in a week. It offered an extremely good way to go over the paperwork, legalities, and financials of guiding. The Guides that worked with us were extremely knowledgable, and eager to teach. I have found that this far it was the most important and helpful thing that I did on my way to becoming a guide. Plus, we spent a massive amount of time on the water learning techniques that I had previously never used. It made me a better fisherman, guide, and steward."
"I had a great week at the school. The guides were very knowledgeable and took the time to teach technical skills to catch fish. I left the school a better fisherman with the confidence to go into any river or stream, follow the process, and catch the big one. Handsome Dave!"
