"This pharmacy went above and beyond for me and my 1yr old when I couldn't find a certain antibiotic in town and they had it. Transferring it from Target wasn't an option since they deleted it and they found a Dr in the hospital to help since we had just been admitted to the hospital less than a month before for the same thing and our Dr was in the Providence system. It was a weekend and the woman who helped us was just amazing."
"I had a really pleasant experience with pharmacist Amber the other day. She was willing to keep the door open a few extra minutes for me to grab prescriptions for 2 patients. I’m so beyond thankful for her compassion. I’d highly recommend this pharmacy after my experience."
"I had spine surgery and the pain med was not supposed to contain an inactive ingredient that exasperated lymphedema, pushing fluid in my lungs. They gave the medication to my husband anyway. When I pointed out *over the phone* (bc Providence was shocked that I was banned without stepping foot in the pharmacy) that I was unable to take the pills, instead of simply arranging for us to dispose of the medication in front of them in their disposal box and calling my doctor for a new Rx, the MANAGER said she wasn't going to call my doctor bc it wasn't anaphylaxis and I should have sent someone competent to pick up my prescription. I was out of surgery, I wasn't able to go myself. The doctor had been working with the in hospital pharmacy to make sure to avoid the ingredient. The dosage and formula changed upon leaving and the doctor had no way to know what pharmacy my husband would fill it at. My allergy was listed in their system but it's this pharmacy's policy NOT to say anything about ANY allergies that aren't anaphylactic. I wasn't allowed to cough up fluid out of my lungs as they just opened my spinal cord and couldn't rupture the incision, so I had to recover, from spine surgery on Tylenol alone because I wasn't able to reach my Dr through their main phone line or email, the only contact info I had. It was the worst pain of my life. At one point I told her that it's her job "to reduce the risk of pain med distribution after I just told her I was allergic to the medication distributed" and suggested the disposal box and calling for different meds, after she refused again I couldn't believe she'd willingly participate in the opioid crisis. In shock, I said that I could report you to the Board of Pharmacy for completely disregarding me saying I was unable to take the controlled medication and not willing to simply dial a phone number to end the issue." In response, she told me that "Based on the severity of your allergy you can no longer use this pharmacy" I'm pretty sure discrimination against a customer based on an allergy is against the ADA. It's honestly insane that one phone call could have ended the whole issue but she chose to escale it. Even if she couldn't get in touch with my doctor at least I would have felt like she cared enough to try. Unbelievable that she is the one who told me sarcastically "that's too bad I don't have medication for the surgery and next time send someone competent to pick up your prescription" and then banned ME. She should be fired. One day someone is going to record their phone call with her and leave that pharmacy in a heap of legal mess. I filed a complaint to the hospital and her boss but I guess she changed the story about what was said so my ban stays in place because I advocated for proper opioid protocols."
"My husband was supposed to have surgery and they added a medication the night before. He called the pharmacy and they said they would have it ready that night. As it was a drive to get there he said he would pick up first thing in The morning prior to surgery. We get there and the medication is not ready. Tells them he has to go check in for surgery but the clerk could care less and says well it might take less than 15 minutes. He could atleast act like he cares and let the pharmacist know it is time sensitive"
"Drive across town to pickup scripts and there is a lovely, colorful sign in the hospital window informing customers the pharmacy is closed due to staffing shortages. Okay...how about updating your profile online? Your hours listed are NOT accurate. Very inconvenient and annoying!"
