CVS Pharmacy 1801 East Parks Highway, Wasilla, AK 99654

"CVS wasilla closed down its geniva woods location to cut cost now expect hundreds of people to stand in line up to an hour just to drop off a script then again to pick it up. I switched away from the target location to Genivavwoods during the Covid days when they totally lost control. I went in today to pick up a script and after an hour wait was told by the guy at the counter that he didn't see a problem with tha long of a wait. Might as well drive to anchorage i won't give them a third chance."

"Hello! The Wasilla, Alaska CVS pharmacy has the longest line of any pharmacy I have encountered in my 43 years. I waited in the line for over an hour on Saturday, January 13, 2024. I think they only had one computer working. PLEASE fix this. The wait was miserable. The last two times I have been there the line has been at least a 45 minute wait. This CVS WAS the best kept secret in town for a while, no line, quick friendly service. What happened? The service is always friendly but it's taking so long. Hopefully this helps make a change."

"I’ve been using this location for many years now and usually had good luck. Unfortunately, over the last year or so, the people who make staffing decisions are cutting costs by running a skeleton crew. I just stood in line for 30 minutes only to be told that they are closing for lunch and the 15 people in line would have to come back in 30 minutes. This is on a Saturday, not everyone has 1-2 hours to spend waiting in line at a pharmacy who only has one person working the front counter on a Saturday. I will be inquiring with other pharmacies now and if I find one that has similar pricing I am done with this place. Whoever runs this place has zero to no interest in customer service, so I will give my money to a place that does."

"CVS pharmacy seems to include a long wait time as their norm. It’s sad to see older folks with no place to sit, etc. Lines are often to the exit door in the Wasilla store. I’ve heard the understaffed excuses, but that’s not an excuse. There’s a problem…fix it, get more up front counter employees or shut it down. We deserve better customer service."

"We switched to this pharmacy from Fred's due to insurance requirements. The first initial transition was hard, but over the last few months every pharmacy tech has been very helpful and also helping me apply discount cards to my prescriptions not covered. The lines can be a little long at times, but they are constantly moving. I truly am thankful because they have helped me save a lot of money!"
