"We rented fat bikes from Geared Up and had such a great experience! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, and answered several of my questions beforehand. The bikes were also really high quality and well-maintained. Thank you so much!"

"Professional and gave a good service. Great stop for us GDMBR riders and I recommend it. However I'd note that this was by far the most expensive bike shop we visited along the whole divide. $40 same day turnaround charge and $65 labour charge for putting on a new chain, one set of brake pads and a sealant top up. If you're budget constrained this might not be the best place for repairs."

"I was headed out for a ride on the morning of my first day of a year-long RV trip only to discover my brakes were completely non-existent. The shop was open, even though it was a Sunday they were working for all the rest of us! I went in figuring I would be sent packing when I asked for a brake bleed to be completed within the next 60 minutes (when I had to check out of my campsite). You can imagine my joy when the owner, after only a moment of hesitation, said "Yeah, I can do that for you." The prices were fair and the work was done in less than the 60 minutes promised. I was also pleasantly pleased when my bike was taken for a test ride before it was returned to me - that is the sign of a mechanic who cares and is knowledgeable because bikes often work just fine in the stand but not on the road. Lastly, I noticed my chain was lubed and my gears were fine-tuned without me asking and without a charge. A true cyclist who wants to share the love of cycling owns Geared Up!"

"What a bike shop!!! Austin (who is not the owner but takes so much pride in the shop he could be) was so incredibly helpful in getting me my first ever mountain bike to rent.
