"We had a great experience with Tony Lomax and Grand Design. He helped us greatly in finding matching wood for our old hardwood floor when we decided to add more hardwood flooring. He went out of his way to find wood that matched our existing hardwood floor and finally located matching flooring. They also did a good job of installing the flooring. Grand Design seems to be service oriented and they were very accommodating to us."
"Recently I contracted with Grand Design to replace carpet in my house. About half way through the project but before the carpet was put in, the business was sold to Tony, the current owner. Almost immediately after it was installed the carpet started to ripple and bulge. After being repaired twice it started to ripple again for the third time so I went to the new owner to ask him to fix it as it was obvoius the intaller could not. Tony came and looked at the carpet last spring and said he'd take care of it later in the summer. However after multiple texts, phone calls and visits to his office it is now December and he has yet to fix it and no longer responds at all. I know he came into the project half way through but it's his company, he is responsible for the work and his reputation. I know he's busy but so am I and really don't like wasting my time on someone who clearly had no intention of ever taking care of this problem. So now my husband and I fixed it and not well. Tony is unreliable and does not keep his word. I would recommend looking elsewhere for carpet."
"Great business!! Not only is the owner a man of his word and keeps his promises, but he is outgoing, understanding and just an all around great guy!! He is a great example of a business that looks after his customers and employees. If you are looking for quality and professionalism..you have found it!! Thank you Grand Design!! Definitely going to suggest you to anyone that asks!!"
"Wonderful experience! Highly recommended! Their show room is beautiful with a massive selection of high quality flooring. Brandon and Karen are an awesome couple! I was also extremely impressed with the installation. It was done perfectly! Everyone involved was very friendly, professional, and reliable. Couldn’t ask for a better outcome. Thanks Grand Design!"
"I bought carpet squares from them and had very poor customer service when I discovered that some squares in each box had coloring that was slightly lighter. I sent them numerous photos but the person in the office was not empowered to say anything, that was left to the owner or manager who was never available. Finally, the owner/manager told us that it was up to the manufacturer to agree to replace the defective tiles. After about 3 months, this finally happened. Thank goodness this was a DIY project so I didn’t have to involve an installer and there was enough correct carpet tile so I could finish under the pool table before it arrived. They should stand behind their product and empower their staff."
