"I called for my husband who is making a ramp for our German Shepherd. They had the exact piece and size of OSB board we needed and since they are right in town, they made it easy and convenient. They have pretty much everything. I would highly recommend The Lumberyard in Evanston, WY."

"I am new to Evanston and I am a very kind god fearing man, I look like a shady character due to my head tattoo and long beard, but I try to treat everyone with respect because no one knows their story, I went to Ace hardware and got a small Cabinet board and realized it was the wrong size, so as i went back to Ace they stated i had to go Here(The lumberyard) to get it cut, so When i first Entered this establishment the 2 ladies at the front desk were so kind and informed me that they could cut it for a dollar, but then an older lady(didnt catch her name) rudely said no and she would ask a man named Travis, she came back and said "uh-uh we wont cut it because you didnt buy it here" I then left and figured i really needed it cut so i called and asked if i can pay like double or triple the price for a single cut and then i was hung up on, so i called again and the older lady answered and i explained the situation and she said, your the guy who had that small board cut, i stated, Yes ma'am, and she said well i can ask Travis again, You're the man with the Head Tattoo aren't you, i stated again "Yes Ma'am" then i was placed on hold for over 10 minutes and was completely forgotten, so i hung up and ended up cutting the board with a pocket knife and a screwdriver due to i have no tools and just moved here. I rarely ever make reviews but i felt this was warranted, i don't know why she had to point out my tattoo when she already addressed me as the guy with the small Board, and i don't know why i was hung up on, then placed on a 10 minute hold when it would have taken 1 minute to ask, i even offered more money than their normal rate to cut, i was very polite. I have met a lot of amazing and kind souls in Evanston at most places i've been to, but sadly The Lumberyard was a terrible experience and I believe that Older lady needs a lesson on manners and to not judge a book by it's cover. I don't believe i will be returning to this establishment ever again."

"Briggs has been at this location for a long time. He knows all his ins and outs very well. He is fair an honest and very friendly. He recently brought in an became a U-Haul rental location. Witch I have used an it's great for his store. I would recommend the lumberyard over ace in Evanston every time!!"
