Reviews of Pedal Anchorage
"Such a fun way to explore downtown Anchorage!! We had a blast with Pedal Anchorage. They are super fun, kind, accommodating and great to work with. They are experts in making the most out of your ride and are so knowledgeable about the best stops to make. This experience is so fun for both locals and visitors! Cannot wait to go again."
"I am so excited to book this summer with Pedal Anchorage! I took friends and family two summers ago and have been wanting to book again, but recently reconnected with Bailey at Pedal Anchorage (owner/host/tour guide) and am planning my guest list as we speak! This trip was so fun. Our group was a mix of adults (30's to mid-70's) and kids (9 to 16 y/o). 10 of us were locals and 2 from Southern California. We packed a cooler of snacks but were having so much fun laughing and waving we never opened it. Of course, we had to make an emergency Wild Scoops ice cream stop on our tour. This is a fun way to cruise downtown Anchorage. I recommend it to both locals and tourists."
"Pedal Anchorage is an amazingly fun way to tour down town Anchorage. Bailey is such a great host and was very fun and informative. I will recommend Pedal Anchorage to ALL my friends and family who visit Alaska. I might even sign up for another tour of down town just for fun!"
"We pulled up and the owner of Pedal Anchorage was waiting for us at the staging area. We were first to pull up so we got first pick for our seats on the 12 passenger bike. We sat perpendicular (face to face) to the direction the bike would eventually head in. We each had a holder for our beverage and bar area in front of our seat. We were prepped in advance that it was a BYOB type situation so naturally my buddy and I came under prepared for the adventure that was about to ensue. Shortly after choosing our seats the rest of the guests started to arrive. Next thing you know the whole vehicle was decorated medieval themed for a birthday party that was also booked on board that night. Once the vehicle was decorated, playlist started bumping through the speakers, aurora colored lights came on and everyone was buckled up we were off. We took an amazing tour of downtown Anchorage singing our lungs out to a custom early 2000's playlist that was built by one of our fellow guests 14 year old daughter. Jams like "baby got back" and " bye bye bye" that was reminiscent to each of us. The speakers on board made sure to turn heads as we all jammed out to the bangers that were on all of our mix tapes in high school. Before you knew it my friend and I found ourselves best of friends with people we just met. We enjoyed our bevies and when we ran out, our guide Bailey, made a pit stop at our local beverage place to grab a few more for the rest of our ride. I tell you one thing, we had the time of our lives. Just biking around downtown hooting and hollering to jams that brought us way back in time. Each of us enjoying refreshing drinks as cars pulled up next to us on the road just to record the party that was being carried out on board the vessel. Bystanders pulling out their phones and singing karaoke to the butchery of songs we were obviously not singing that well too but having the time of our lives losing our voices to regardless. But if you were out side looking inward, there was one thing that was apparent to everyone... we were all having the time of our lives. Pedaling, singing, waving our arms around our heads. Drinks in hand, gesturing "cheers" with our plastic challises to each person we passed along our rout. I was a little nervous about the pedaling aspect since I'm not super athletic but our driver Bailey, would take over with the electric motor that was on board to get us over those hills and through all the intersections us hooligans were too busy singing our lungs out through. So pedaling wasn't even an issue for me and actually wasn't necessary for those who didn't want to at all. There were even a few bench seats on the vessel that didn't have pedals attached to them at all. So you could get the ride without the pedaling part. This experience can accommodate guests with a range of athletic ability which I think is great. So if you're a bicyclist, someone who doesn't like getting up to even go to the fridge OR if you have an ADA need... this experience can be enjoyable for you. This was a truly unique experience that I can totally see myself dragging a bigger group of my friends out to. I couldn't recommend this more than I do to anyone looking for something different to do in Anchorage. Big big thanks to Pedal Anchorage for bringing an experience like this to the residents and visitors of Anchorage."
"We had a group of 13 people including 3 kids. We’re from Alaska so the fact it was raining didn’t matter at all. Actually I think it was more fun!! Bailey was a great driver and took us all around downtown. We stopped at Bernie’s and FStreet for drinks. We were able to Bluetooth our music into their system and it was great!! I will definitely be doing that again. Hopefully next time in the sun."
