Reviews of Whale Park
"A pretty small park but lots of interpretive signage."
"Great spot to stop for the restroom and to take pictures of the bay."
"This is a great place for kids and adults - for those young at heart. The information proved gives great insight into the factors that make Southeast Alaska an amazing place to visit and learn about different cultures and ways of life."
"Didn't see any whales today, but did climb down the stairs (quite a ways if you arent used to them) and down on the rocks a bit to see a bunch of starfish which was cool. Also used the binos to peek at the mountain."
"Quietest place to sit down and relax from the regular life by just listening to the ocean and wind by the rocks. Beautiful view of the Silver bay. Boardwalkers quite slippery when it is wet, hold on to your kids most of the time. Stairs climbing is awesome and good work out any point of the day. Lot of printed information to read and understand the whale behavior. Breaching is something I learned from the printed script here and experienced in the Halibut State recreational Park."
