"Steve is a knowledgeable host that clearly has a close bond with his animals. Patrick really made my visit so memorable, making sure my sister, son & his fiance and I had one on one time with the animals. I wish I would have gotten a photo with him. I wanted to stay in one of their cabins and never leave. I look at my photos every day. The porcupine was my favorite. And I'm from there, not even a tourist. I returned to Seattle and still think about The Wildlife Center every day."
"Steve was amazing at teaching us and keeping our kids attention. The experience is a must!!! Worth every penny and they truly care about the animals"
"Toured the center as an excursion via Princess Cruise Lines and by far one of my favorite excursions of the trip. Connecting to animals was amazing and my daughter had a blast. She was very fond of Duck Henry and his caribou neighbors, although her joy of feeding them may leader to an ungulate obesity epidemic."
"Interesting place where it is obvious that there is much love and care for the animals here. Informative tour overall. The only downfall is that the tour group was too large so it made it uncomfortable to stand around and wait your turn to see the animals. I think that our tour could have been split into 2 groups instead of one large one. The bus ride from the cruise port was great. The bus driver was EXTREMELY interesting and full of fun stories. The bus ride to and from the Kroschel Wildlife Centre was one of our most favorite bus rides in all of the tours we have taken... and we take A LOT!!!"
"I would give this 6 stars if I could. We went as part of a cruise ship excursion and everything was amazing from the bus driver to everyone working there. The animals were well cared for and we got amazing photos. We had a 2 year old with us and you will need to watch kids closely as these are wild animals (no fingers in fences!). Like others said it was a decent amount of walking on dirt paths and not stroller friendly. There was a gift shop at the end. There were also a couple of bathrooms."
