"Great place to stay if you are visiting the area. The hosts are nice, the property is right in between Cody and Yellowstone, and there is a gas station right on the corner of their road. There are multiple options to stay at depending on your group size as well. I stayed in the bunkhouse which was perfect for two people and had everything we needed."

"This is my third time back here and I will keep coming back! The cabins are perfect for a nature retreat complete with a stream running along the property line and a fire pit area that is perfect for an evening in the woods. The big cabin has a fun history and maintains the feel of a historic cabin while giving visitors modern conveniences. And the bunkhouse is a tiny home retreat right on the stream. For anyone who is looking for an out of city experience at a fraction of the cost of the cabins in the park, this is a great option 28 miles out of East Gate."

"I am the owner am going to address Lynn’s review. She booked with Booking.com. On booking when you click on Wapiti Crossing they show the big cabin as the front picture. When you go to book there is two options a two bedroom which is the larger cabin and another for the one bedroom which is the smaller cabin. There is a big price difference per night between the cabins. Each of the selections has a full descriptions and picture as to which cabin you are booking. We can’t help when visitors do not read descriptions and look at the pictures for the cabin they are booking. She is right she had to move her stuff from the cabin because we had others coming into the bigger cabin the very next day. Those people paid for the bigger cabin. Her husband was very rude and threatening. He smoked on the property which is against the rules. I believe the 1 star rating would be for a 1 star guest. They were reported twice to booking.com for their behavior and misconduct during their stay."

"Be careful what you book. Pictures are not shown for the bunkhouse which evidently is what you get if you book one bedroom but you are shown the main rental. No one was available when we arrived so had to move all are stuff to the bunkhouse. Won’t book with them again. Not impressed."
