Stagecoach ride

"Was there a few weeks ago and one horse obviously had something wrong with its leg, they looked unkept and sad. Happy well cared for horses do not look like these horses. I wish they would ban these types of tourist traps. I am aware that horses like to work, but it should be in the fields not on pavement in awful climates. Just makes me sad."

"we watched these horses who were skin and bones cart around the same carriage for hours and hours on end.. we realized how covered in cuts they were. Multiple were bleeding from the friction of the ropes on their legs. We mentioned it to the workers and they said “I know” and did absolutely nothing but take another group out. They didn’t cover the spot that was getting dug into by the ropes. no water breaks. No food breaks and they rest on the pavement the whole time. No horse should ever be treated like this. You are DISGUSTING"

"Seeing these horses have to cart around tourists in the heat, walking along roads very busy with cars, saddens me every time. Jackson is a beautiful town, but you can have a great time here without exploiting horses."
