"We booked whale watching trip directly through Alaska tales in Juneau while on Norwegian encore cruise to Alaska. Larry, Steph, Ber were our crew for this trip. Boat was modern. They took us at right place for whale watching. We saw many whales. Life time experience of whale watching. Best company for this."

"Thar be whales... We booked a whale watching tour through Viator. The vendor was Alaska Tales. We couldn't have been any happier with our tour. The crew of James, Steph and Kristen were exceptional. We got lucky with sunny weather (8/28/23) and calm water. The Humpbacks were out in force as were the Seals. The double-decked catamaran was a great platform allowing additional height and stability when everyone moved to the side where the whales were. We will definitely take another whale watching tour with Alaska Tales. You should too. We took hundreds of pictures/videos and the double fluke shot was the coolest."

"Was in Juneau as a part of our Alaskan cruise journey and decided to use Alaska Tales to go whale watching and see glaciers in the meantime. Kyle, Taylor and Will were an excellent crew and were very hospitable. Will actually took great videos for all of us and was kind enough to take the initiative to airdrop them to everyone. They were also quite proactive in offering snacks and water throughout the trip. Highly recommend!"

"Our family had an amazing time with Alaska Tales! They picked our group up near the cruise ship terminal and out towards a smaller bay where our boat took us out for sight seeing. We were really fortunate to see some humpbacks bubble net feed, and it was incredible! Many thanks to Captain Mark, Kristen and Stephanie to making sure we were comfortable and safe. Also appreciated the little snacks and water, as well as a washroom on board! Our driver Julia was kind enough to take us back to AJ docks to drop us off and made sure we made it back in time before the gangway was up. We highly recommend this excursion!"

"We had a great time on the whale watching excursion. Captain Mike, Marina, and Olive were a wonderful team. Very knowledge about the whales as well as other Alaskan wildlife. They also shared stories about the islands we passed along the way. We saw several whales and sea lions. It was a rainy and chilly Alaskan day so the heated cabin was much appreciated and the large windows were perfect for any that preferred to stay inside versus venturing to the top of the boat or heading to the bow. Would definitely book this excursion again, no question!"
