"If you're looking for somewhere to stay just outside of Yellowstone (about 20 minutes from the eastern entrance), this is the place! Beautiful views, cozy little cabins, very rustic atmosphere. Proprietor John was very friendly and fun to talk to, a real character. No cell service, however they do have satellite internet wifi. Dinners were delicious, they have a celebrity chef from New York cooking several nights a week; even the locals came in for a bite! We'll definitely be going back here the next time we're in Yellowstone. We arrived literally the last week of their season and were still treated like family. Be advised, breakfast and dinner are not complementary. No food allowed in cabins because of bears, they were nice enough to provide us with bear spray."

"I can't begin to express how wonderful UxU ranch is. John and his whole team are absolutely the sweetest people. My husband and I got the opportunity to hold our wedding here and it was beyond what we could have asked for or even expected. I can't even begin to express my gratitude to John and his staff for making our wedding day so magical. The ranch is truly a slice of heaven! It's a breath of fresh air that just washes all your stress away. The meals are refreshing and cooked to perfection. The cabins are beautifully decorated and cozy! UxU Ranch, John, and the staff are incredible. If you get the chance to stay here don't pass it up."

"We stayed for two nights in the Stage Stop cabin. I can’t say enough about this property, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the location is absolutely beautiful, and the cabins are VERY nice. The owner John took an hour out of his day to teach my daughter how to use photo editing software on pictures she took in Yellowstone. The horseback riding with Sutton was a great time, she’s a wonderful guide and teacher. You will not regret staying at the UXU Ranch!"

"This place is AMAZING! The staff is SO accommodating, helpful, knowledgable and friendly. The facilities are comfortable and rustic while still being elegant and impeccably clean. Had a wonderful dinner. We love it here and will be back! The adventure ride on horseback was a fantastic experience with incredible scenery and views. I am running out of superlatives about how great it all was!"

"Did not stay in the cabins, but visited for the trail rides. Sutton was our guide and she was fantastic! The ride was beautiful! The horses were well behaved and easy to ride if you are inexperienced. The whole property was beautiful and every staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly. Would definitely stay here as a guest. Property is about 15 minutes from the East Entrance of Yellowstone."
