"I am visiting from out of town and ordered delivery. The young lady I spoke to on the phone was nice and the gentleman who delivered was also very nice. I ordered two orders of the Fettuccine Alfredo and the Spaghetti with Meatballs. The Spaghetti seemed ok. The Fettuccine was awful. It was so bitter/sour, we had to throw it out. It was also not Fettuccine, it was Spaghetti noodles. I called the business and asked if it was supposed to be bitter. Even though I have never heard of it, I asked if maybe they made it with beer or something. I told them that they might want to taste it because I was afraid it had gone bad. I heard the young lady ask the cook about it and the cook sounded irritated and said they put nothing in it to make it sour. Nobody offered to make it right. They said “ok we will check it, thanks for calling” and the phone call was over. I would not recommend ordering the Alfredo from this place."
"Doughy and undercooked. Only pizza in my life I didn't finish or take home. Low quality frozen factory crust. Pizza oven not hot enough so exposed crust is cooked dry and chalky, covered dough is raw, toppings are raw, cheese is still white. Photo is AFTER I already brought it back to the kitchen once for being still cold. I asked for well done from the get-go when I saw other uncooked pizzas on tables. People left half eaten pizzas and I overheard people complaining. Everybody is too nice here to complain to the staff. Think gas station Hunt Brothers quality yet uncooked, but twice the price at $19 for a medium. Old Stones, try harder. Turn up the oven heat, a lot. Throw out the garbage frozen dough. Every pizza I saw on other tables was undercooked. My colleagues pulled pork was slop and the table next to us was complaining their ribs were tough and frankly not worth finishing. Like a "before" shot of Kitchen Nightmares. Kitchen staff was half idle but the one wait staff was running like mad doing tables, cleaning, and registers. I tipped the waitress discretely. I hope business dries up and you go out of business if you don't change your ways. It's a waste of money."
"Definitely has some good pizza, no doubt. The cheese to crust ratio was delightful and the crust itself was a good texture. Only problems I have are the prices and the service. Amongst walking in I was greeted by a very nice young lady. Six seconds later, she explained to her co-worker it was their table; she showed no interest, even though it was slow; and had no clue where they were in who got what customer. We got sat by her after 30 seconds of awkward silence and she did not come to give us our waters, in fact the nice lady that greeted us ended up taking our orders, including getting us drinks instead. Our “server” brought out the food quickly though and no complaints there other than the close to $11 bill for an 8in pizza that was 8 bites and done. Still a solid place though."
"Nice, peaceful, quiet meal. Friendly, helpful staff, good prices and good food. Some of these reviewers might be a smidge hypercritical or just plain out of touch with what a down home family owned restaurant experience is supposed to be..."
"This place has the potential to be much better than 3 stars with just a little bit of effort. The inside of the establishment has a nice rustic atmosphere that fits a place like Pinedale, but my critique is that parts of the restaurant felt unkempt and dishoveled - especially the entrance. Taking a little time to clean and tidy up the entrance would go a long way. The customer service was lacking and we felt as if we were imposing on the staff by coming into the restaurant. A few more smiles and a little bit of friendly talk would have been welcome. Really the pizza tasted pretty good, but these other issues took away from the overall experience."
