"We were disappointed by the breakfast at this cafe. The trout was fried nicely but wasn’t that fresh and had so many bones, it made it unpleasant to eat. The “butter crisp” hash browns were not buttery, crisp or browned. They were barely cooked. The French toast hardly had any egg on it. The food was flavorless; no wonder there are so many condiments on the tables. At least my husband liked the pumpkin bread."

The trout had not been salted and the eggs were overcooked and cold. Was really looking forward to this place after the good reviews but it did not pan out for us. Also incredibly overpriced."
"Nestled in the mountains just outside Yellowstone with dramatic mountains shooting straight up all around you. Cabins and restaurant are really cool old style log buildings. The host is super friendly and helpful. The food is home cooked and delicious. You will not be disappointed with this stop!"
