"I made a mistake coming back here. Brent the bartender was clearly not interested in my business. I got a burrito full of gristly steak. The bartenders shrugged, and said "that's what you get when you hire young Mexicans"... Wow! They made no effort to make it right. Save your money and go somewhere else."

"The food just keeps getting worse. They used to have good food. Somebody got greedy.. I would not recommend a single dish out of that kitchen. Eleanors is blowing it They used to have good food and they paid their staff to make it right."

"Great hole in the wall bar with some good eats!! We happened to stop for lunch on a Tuesday, the taco special was really awesome and tasty. I personally loved the sports bar vibe and our server was hilarious and attentive. Certainly adding this to my list of places to visit while I'm in Jackson."

"If you're looking for a locals' sports bar with tasty buffalo wings and cold beer then you've found your place. We just happened on Eleanor's and the sign brought us in. Our timing couldn't have been better arriving just before the start of the 4pm happy hour. We sat at the bar and it felt like we'd been in the neighborhood for 20 years when we had only arrived in Jackson a few hours earlier. Folks sitting at the bar were super friendly and Ari, the bartender, and the rest of the crew were all enjoying themselves and so did we! We already had 5pm reservations for a nearby restaurant so we opted for buffalo wings as an appetizer. Just the right amount of heat! We learned that there's a group of CU Buffaloes fans that gather to cheer them on and we would surely join them if we were staying that long. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we're so happy we stopped in."

"I'm updating my review from a not so good one that I wrote 3 years ago. We kept going back and the more we went we noticed improvements and found favorites on their menu. We became frequent customers again, especially in the off season, we went on a weekly basis, it was also our go to take out spot after camping, hiking, a day on the lakes. We loved most of their staff (especially Nelson, Georgia and Jerry), they were attentive and did a great job on cocktails (dirty martinis, pineapple vanilla martini etc) and in keeping us happy. We loved the wings, totchos (tater tot nachos), shrimp quesadillas, gyros and buffalo chicken salad. The meatball, chicken parm sandwiches and street tacos were also pretty good. Good beer selection, and one of the most affordable places to eat/drink in Jackson. It was also a fun place to watch the UFC and football, though it would get very crowded sometimes with all the locals. This year we moved overseas to a coastal town, but wanted to leave a positive note for these guys at Eleanors as they deserve it. We hope to find an "Eleanors" in our new town."
