Reviews of Fishing Bridge
"Although you cannot fish off of the fishing bridge…since like 1976 or something like that. It still offers stunning views!"
"I was fascinated by the fishing bridge built in 1937 with logs, very beautiful! Besides, the view is great. People normally ignore this place. I think it is a pity."
"Very nice place, old wooden bridge, idyllic river and lake."
"Any where you stop in the Yellowstone is absolutely breathtaking !! Going east towards the bridge we spotted a huge owl and then on the way back, going west over the bridge we spotted a bison crossing the road. Didn’t actually see any fish from the bridge but the views at sunset are gorgeous!!"
"While you are no longer actually allowed to fish from Fishing Bridge, this is such a beautiful location where the Yellowstone River comes pouring out of Yellowstone Lake. There is a General Store here with all purpose items and a diner like restaurant and an RV campground. You have easy access here to the Lake Hotel just a mile away, Bridge Bay, day hikes like Elephant Back. You have great access to the north shore of Yellowstone Lake and the Pelican Valley. You also are a fairly short drive to the Mud Volcano Area and the famous Hayden Valley, where you are likely to see large herds of bison in the summer."
