"Excellent flavours from eastern Europe that warmed us in the coldest of fairbanks winter. So good we went back 2 more times. Value lunch sets on weekdays from 11am-4pm. Delicious madovan wine with an impressive expansive wine list for such a low key restaurant. Saturday dinner seemed to be really busy, with live music, might want to reserve a table."
"First experience with Moldovan food! I found most restaurant in Fairbanks a bit too salty for me and soda taste good. Mamaliga is delicious. Me and my friend enjoy the food!"
"The food tasted so-so and everything was quite bland, aside from the pickled veggies; although that could just be the flavor profile of Moldovan cuisine? (Not quite sure as this is the only time I ever had Moldovan food). The chicken soup was enjoyable as an appetizer, but the rest of my orders were pretty underwhelming, especially considering how expensive everything was (but everything in Alaska seems generally expensive anyways). The service was friendly though, the atmosphere was quite charming with interesting decor."
"This hidden gem serves up hearty Eastern European dishes that are bursting with flavor. Everything I tried was absolutely supper delicious. The portions were generous, the ingredients fresh, and the taste was truly something special. I especially recommend the mamaliga (polenta) The owners are incredibly friendly and passionate about their cuisine, and it really shows in their service."
"Our first food stop in Fairbanks and it was really good. All of us enjoyed our meal. They offer authentic Moldovan food and it’s delicious! There’s also vegetarian food offerings for your vegan friends. Service was fantastic the host was super friendly. They have great house beer, fresh and smooth. The dessert was a fantastic ending note. The restaurant decoration is very exotic which made the dining experience more enjoyable. Definitely visit if you’re nearby!"
