"Harbor Mountain Brewing Co. was the perfect spot to meet up with my fellow co-workers & industry members after a long day of meetings! We enjoyed delicious beer, kombucha and pizzas! My favorite pizza was the veggie, a good blend of savory and spicy!"
"Harbor Mountain and Campfire Kitchen is the best combo in town. The beer flavors change and the pizza toppings change too. Everything here has a good earthy and made from scratch feel and vibe. They play vinyls too which gives it that extra good chill vibe. It’s warm inside so you can get comfy. So, Find a spot if they aren’t too busy and grab a suds and za! The pizza is cooked in a wood burning fire stove and has a great taste the beer is craft and there are a lot of flavors to choose from. Oh, you Don’t drink? That’s cool! Grab a glass of their seltzer water. It’s all so good. Cheers! Have fun!"
"Cruise Ship Passengers Beware? As someone who has been to literally 200+ breweries, this brewery seemed to be less than friendly to non-locals (aka tourists) than any other brewery I have been to. For context, our family was the only Asian family in the brewery. The brewery is definitely not in the “touristy” part of town; we had to walk roughly 25 minutes to get there, which may have contributed to the lack of tourists. The bartender service was cordial, but cold. During our stay, the lights in the bar went out and the backup generator kicked in. One of the patrons loudly said something to the effect of, “The power must have gone out because of the cruise ships and the tourists.” The stares my family received were definitely palpable. When we approached the food section of the brewery just to look at the menu, the men behind the counter quickly said they were closed and will open in a few hours. Meanwhile, we saw other patrons eating and being served food. Beer was passable, nothing particularly special. Afterward, we went to the more touristy areas of the town to have some more drinks, and did not feel out of place."
"Our party of 4 wanted a nice lite lunch with a cold brew and great root beer, Harbor Mountain checked all of our boxes. The pizza crust was perfectly thin. The reindeer sausage was a delicious compliment. The brews were the best we'd tasted throughout Southeastern Alaska. The root beer was outstanding. Nice atmosphere, unassuming dining room with family style tables."
"A wood fired oven cooks the pizzas to perfection. The beers have a wonderful hoppiness without the bitter notes that typically are associated with an ipa."
