"Absolutely amazing service! I bought a Specialized Rockhopper from them which has had numerous problems with the factory parts (pedals, cassette, shifter, etc.) and they replaced parts and even put a better cassette on free of charge after the first one wore out in 3 months. I will definitely be going back to them when I need to upgrade."
"I went in to order a specific type of bike which the owner said he could get. It was about a $2000 bike I wanted and he said he would order. I called 2 times since and went in and still never got the bike or heard any update from him besides “oh we will let you know when it ships here, it’s available so it should come with the next shipping” that was about 4 months ago. They always feel rushed when your in there and don’t really seem interested in helping beginners cyclists get started or pointed in the right direction."
"Flying into Juneau from Denver to compete in Ironman Alaska this weekend—after Alaska Airlines totally let down hundreds of athletes with their bike shipping—Ken and his amazing team offered to be the point of delivery for everyone shipping their bikes into Juneau. No charge. No agenda. No fanfare. Just Ken being an absolutely great guy, wanting visitors to his town to feel welcome and supported. I cannot thank Ken enough for his kind and generous spirit. If I lived here, Juneau Bike Doctor would be my go-to store without question."
"Had a great experience with a family centered female mechanic. But then she left and the bike doctor damaged my bike fork. After needing only a chain tightening. That fork was 12 yrs old and Italian. (They) - as all of the bike shop claims to having ridden my bike and not touched the front ewheel. The problem is that I road the bike and it was doing 20+ miles an hr. The ewheel front was brand new from that Monday. The bike doctor has someone who didn’t understand how to put this axel on a front and put it backwards:( then acted like I did it! They then told me that they would still take care of me? And get the fork replacement by Friday. Never heard from them it’s been five days- believe me take video of your bike operating before u give it to these deniers. Never seen anything like that - they road a broken bike? Impressed by that lie Update- In all fairness they called about the replacement fork coming in- so 2 stars I guess. But still installing the fork myself they aren’t trust worthy after Natalie left - time to buy a bike stand :( Repair my own"
"I brought my bike to the bike “doctor” two months ago. It was an old bike that had very rusty wheels and the brakes were broken. After discussion with the bike doctor himself he told me it would be no problem to put new wheels tires and brakes on the bike. It is an old sears brand free spirit. I was willing to pay whatever it cost to get this bike running as it is pretty rad. Two months later I had not heard back from the shop. I went in to get my bike today and not only had they not worked on it they also decided it was to much work without even bothering to call me , the customer and see if I was willing to have them throw their efforts into it despite the cost. I would’ve been. Long story short if you expect your bike to be fixed in a reasonable amount of time or get a phone call this is not the place for you. He tried selling me a bike he didn’t even have there at the store. What a joke. Why couldn’t they call? Idk, I’m just putting this information out there so perhaps others can not make the same mistake I did"
