Logan Health Urology

"The only reason they get the one star is the lovely older lady at the front desk. She is very welcoming. Unfortunately would not recommend Mr. Purcell (whom I was told was a specialist, but didn't find out until the appointment that he is a Nurae Practicioner.) He was unable or unwilling to explain even the difference between gal and kidney stones aside from there is one and has a very rough and judgemental manner. It was obvious he decided the diagnosis before even setting eyes on or talking to me as all he wanted to talk about was my diabetes and not investigate the current issue further, all while saying he isn't an endocrinologist, yet he thinks my symptoms are the result of that. He failed to listen to me and misquoted and didn't even list more than half of what we discussed. Then he said he would be calling with the results of the test he events agreed to and said he would be calling me with the results. I get a call a few days later from a receptionist with the results and another message from him that he says its my diabetes. This is why you should ALWAYS request your own copy of images and reports. I asked about the hernia mentioned and her response was "Well we were just looking for stones." Completely understand, but a hernia is a very serious thing and it is extremely disturbing he didn't even pass along a message to her to tell me to talk to a primary care provider. This is negligence. I would advise going anywhere else. Logan experiences a data breach twice yearly for years as well so privacy is not a concern."

"I called but had to leave a message and explain the need to make an appointment. It's been a week, and there's been no call back. Extremely unprofessional and based on the reviews, this is a frequent occurrence. ****Edit**** I called an administrator at Logan, and they told me that the building that the Urologist is in had a pipe burst and made it a mess for them. This is understandable, and I did receive a phone call within 2 hours of the call to the administrator. I suggest that they put a reason for any delays in returning calls in the salutation."

"When you can actually see the doctors they are amazing. However, everything beyond that needs some serious improvement. They can start by actually returning calls and answering the phone. Often you have to call several times over the corse of days to get a hold of anyone, don't bother to leave a message as I've never gotten a call back. Ended up going down to Missoula for services. Unless it's an emergency and the doctors are helping you in the ED or as an impatient, go eleswhere."

"I’ve called three times and left messages attempting to get an appointment. Not once has anyone called me back. I have insurance and am a professional who would like to be seen but I can’t seem to get in. Called Missoula’s five valley urology and was in the next day. What’s going on Logan health? Since they were bought out the whole kalispell health system has fallen apart."
