Rick Heiser is a health institution located at 185 Commons Loop in Kalispell, Montana, United States. Founded by Rick Heiser, who grew up on a wheat farm in western Kansas, the institution specializes in the treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions. With over 25 years of experience, Rick is one of the few fellowship-trained hand therapists in the country, having completed a rigorous upper extremity fellowship through Baylor School of Medicine and Texas Women’s University.

Rick is dedicated to providing exceptional care to his clients, incorporating research and best practices into his treatments to achieve the best outcomes. He is certified in hand and upper extremity care (CHT) and lymphedema management (CLT), and has a post professional doctorate in occupational therapy with an emphasis in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.

In addition to his clinical work, Rick has been an invited speaker at numerous conferences, a peer reviewer for the Journal of Hand Surgery, and a chapter editor for the American Society of Hand Therapists CHT review book. He has also participated in local, national, and international mission trips, and loves spending time with his rescue dog, Claire.

Joining Rick at the institution is Stirland, who completed the Doctoral Program for Occupational Therapy at Texas Tech University. Stirland is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and lifelong learning, and is certified in dry needling with an emphasis on the neck and upper extremity region. Outside of work, Stirland enjoys exploring the beautiful lakes and mountains in the Flathead Valley with his wife, Kasey, and their goldendoodle, Rocky.
