"They do a good job but I’ve called to cancel service at my property 3 times now and I haven’t received a call back to stop the service for the time being. Today is 7 - 27 - 23 and I posting this review to cover myself from further billing at my property. Thank you and somebody needs to call me back ASAP so there’s no miss understanding about my billing that was supposed to STOP last week."
"Its pretty sad when the majority of a business' negative reviews are due to communication or "no show" issues rather than their actual work. After reading the negative reviews we decided to give them a chance and see whether our experience would be different. Unfortunately, it was similar to others you read. Just a note to the reader, you'll notice the raving 5 star review from Aspen, she's an employee of Lawnworks. (Unless there's another blonde gal named Aspen locally? Not likely) After the first cancelled appointment and then no show, we decided to give them another chance. Colin seemed very sincere with resolving the issue and sent Aspen out to appease us. The actual worker guy was to arrive later in the day to perform job. No show. No call. No return call the next day either. We had them scheduled to actually do two jobs, one sprinkler related and one landscaping related. We canceled both. Word of mouth in this small community is huge for businesses. Things would be much different with us, and I'm sure other customers, if communication was better. This day and age there is absolutely no excuse for poor communication."
"I had a terrible experience with this company. I changed around my work schedule to meet them at my house and they flat out did not show up! When I called to see where they were I got an excuse about a vehicle break down in another state and they couldn't make it. I decided to give them a second chance to bid the work, the owner, Colin, showed up to evaluate and bid my job. I received the bid later that day, accepted it and asked to have the work scheduled. I was told they would be there over 2 days and they would start the following week. As the date approached I called to have power and utility lines located, texted Colin the order number for that, no response. Texted him the next day to confirm he had received it, no response. Called and left a voice mail, no response. Called the main office and spoke with Aspen, she said she'd give Colin the message, no response. Day they are supposed to start working, no one shows up. Called Colin, no response. Called the main line, spoke with Aspen she told me that sometimes they don't get to a job first thing in the morning that's maybe why they weren't there (it was 11 am) and was told they'd give him a message, no response. Next day, again no one shows up. Text Colin, no response. Call main number, Aspen tells me that the managers don't put their work on the schedule so she can't help me. Call Colin again and leave a voice mail, no response. That was a week ago and I still haven't heard from anyone. I'm surprised they have so many good customer service reviews, must be their friends and family..."
"I am sad to say that I just had a terribly experience with this company. First, they DID NOT show up the day yhey were scheduled. I did not receive a call to verify address, they just didn't show. Second, when they did come the crew did the front lawn and just left! If I wouldn't have been here the back would've gone undone. I was here, texted the owner and he sent them back. Very unprofessional! Third, when they returned I was told due to the new equipment it wouldn't fit through my gate. The owner had surveyed the property last season and should have turned down the job if his crew didn't have the equipment to do it. Instead, the guys(working without proper tools) take down a panel. I offered to get a larger gate installed and have them reschedule, but they said it was fine. Finally, almost immediately I receive an Invoice for $200!!! When I initially made the appt I was told to "just text me what I charged you last year". I did this, and it was 1/5 of this statement! I know the initial cleanup is usually a little more but $200??? So, a recap... They did not show, or contact me the day they were scheduled. They did only half the job and left! I had to track them down. They come unprepared for the job although the owner knew the property. AND...Left me with a whopping $200 bill and not even an apology!!!"
"These guys are amazing!! I can’t recommend them enough. I wasn’t contracted at the beginning of the year for snow removal but when it started snowing heavily, I called them and begged them to help me out! They have been immensely helpful during this winter period! Thank you for having your crew come out on such short notice! Saved my life for sure!!"
