"I used to be Home Depot, but I have switched to Lowes. While Home Depot tries to penny pitch and upcharge, Lowes has offered better pricing and product availability. Home Depot won't ship almost anything up here, while I have shipped several needed things up here with Lowes. The pricing at Home Depot is ridiculous and they try to block cell service at the stores so you can't see how bad it truly is. Wrong business tactic and many things need to change at the Depot for us to come back."

"Can't ever find anybody to help you and when you do they either don't know where anything is located or even know if they have what you're looking for or know what the thing is or know anything about what you need and then say they'll find someone who does but no one ever comes (I'm not expecting everyone to be an expert on everything but it's kind of frustrating at a store like Home Depot... For example if someone was looking for plumbing things at Fred Meyers I would expect a store associate to not know much about plumbing... but at a home improvement store that specializes in carrying everything you need for plumbing it seems they should have 1 or 2 people working the plumbing section who knows the basics or at the very least what type of tool or glue is used on different materials) . Also they have so much stuff in the isles that it's hard to maneuver a basket around the store!"

"We ordered quartz countertops, we were given a Jan 24th ship date! We called the end of February and it just showed up! Supposedly! The installer didn’t show up for the scheduled install date, and didn’t call to say they wouldn’t make it! They now have scheduled for almost 2wks from original date. I don’t have a way to cook food for my family! We can’t even get ready for work in our bedroom!"
