"I don’t think I’ve ever written a 1 star review but I am hoping management might see this. I stop in here about once a week or so to donate some items or take a quick look around. I’ll even bring the kids to shop sometime since they like thrift stores. However, I’ve noticed over the last couple years the prices have become truly ridiculous. Goodwill receives hundreds of thousands of items through donations from individuals and from big box corporations like Target, yet many times they then turn around and charge nearly brand new prices or much higher. A simple Google search would show exactly what the item is worth. Who is pricing these items? It’s absolutely insane. Just today they have a used craftsman toolbox priced at $130, it can be purchased for $39 brand new. So much of their inventory is damaged, torn, worn out or a straight up price gouge. Come on Goodwill, do better. Maybe take a hint that if stuff is sitting unsold for 4 months and no one will buy it at even at 75% off then your pricing model is waaaay off. And isn’t this supposed to be an affordable option for people who don’t have the financial means to buy new? I have to be honest, I don’t think in good conscience I can support a place like this anymore. I’m going to donate elsewhere and no longer shop here until they come back down to earth."
"Been there 2 times. There prices are way overpriced one can buy the same items new and cheaper, what a disappointment, if you like used shoes then you like warts & foot fungus there nasty....."
"The prices are ridiculous. I found a couple of items that had clearance stickers from the original store (Walmart & Target) that were priced for cheaper than what Good Will was selling it for. I only come here every once in a while but seeing those price differences made me not want to come back."
"Found a couple of books and a shirt while we were here. It is very similar to the Goodwills we have at home with a slightly varied inventory. Can still find deals if you are knowledgeable and browse well. I do tend to agree with many posters that Goodwill, in general, often has very high prices on items that don't warrant it, especially since they were donated. I just find that I don't buy as much as I used to."
"They have a lot of inventory, and the store is well organized and clean. Some nice brands, especially in the women's section. The clothes and shoes I saw all appeared to be in great shape (hit or miss with big name thrift stores). The prices are pretty high though, especially for what I'm used to with the Goodwill name. You can get some nice stuff, but the items were priced around $9.99, $12.99, $16.99 or even $19.99. Definitely more of a bargain shopping experience than a thrift."
