"This was probably the dirtiest and poorly maintained AE store I've ever been in. Between the dusty shelves, the left over tape residue all over the walls, the paint chipping off of walls and shelves, and grime everywhere, cleanliness is obviously far down on the list and moving apparel is the only focus. I'd be more likely to shop your brand if I felt comfortable in a clean store. My visit today, this was not the case."

"Love this clothes brand one of my favorites. I came here to return some stuff I had order because the were broken and they took them back and game me new ones. The lady at the register was very nice and polite and very helpful."

"The girl by the the fitting rooms (didn’t catch her name) was absolutely incredible. I walked in knowing I wanted jeans and she asked me about my preferences and immediately she found two pairs that were absolutely perfect! She was kind, flattering and very knowledgeable. Forgot to say something to the cashier about how super helpful she was, but she deserves a raise!"

"The "lady" who I tried very hard to speak to was rude and totally disinterested. She did not return my initial greeting and never answered any of my questions. She never made eye contact. I had the distinct impression that I was a monumental pain in the butt for making her do some actual work! Rolling the eyes and grimacing at every question I asked. She never responded to any of my questions. She was totally incompetent and took over 10 minutes to establish that the jeans I wanted were out of stock. Apparently they will never ever be in stock again since I was not even able to place an order. It sure gave me the impression that American Eagle does NOT want my business. I am happy to oblige! People in Anchorage are usually warm, friendly and welcoming. This was a stark contrast. If this was my business she would be out on the street within seconds! Shame on you American Eagle. I had read other bad reports about this store but having been treated so well in Anchorage by other people I ignored it. Big mistake! Go buy your jeans some place else!"
