"horrible attitude = ridiculous prices - wont take AMex because it costs too much. poor mangement - the place is kind of ridiculous."
"Prices are comically high for donated items. Whoever has the price gun take it away from them they don't know what they're doing."
"The staff is very friendly, yes things can be pricey but you can also find great deals. I had a terrible experience at another theft store downtown (Salvation Army) that made me feel terrible because I found 2 items at 1.00 each for fake snow, the cashier whom said, " I'm the manager and this is mispriced, obviously my employees are putting the wrong price on things and the best I could do is 5 dollars each" FOR FAKE SNOW....it's September and I'm thinking a head for my first Christmas here.... at ST Vincent they actually get HAPPY AND EXCITED for you when you find a good deal! That is why I will pay a little more at ST Vincent. Thrift Store. Don't go to the Salvation army downtown juneau."
"Merna, the sales representative here shows very poor attitude and is rude. From the moment we started asking questions she was extremely short and had attitude as if us being there was an inconvenience to her. Towards the end I finally mentioned that she was rude and that is when she insisted “this is your first time here, yes? Well I have been working here for four years.” Poor decision making in having this person represent this company."
"We stopped by the day before donations were open to explain what we had, they said they would take it all and told us to come back the next day. We did, they said they wouldn't take any of it and were very rude about the it. I had brand new kids toys, mattress covers for cribs never opened and all kinds of other kids things that they said they didn't have space for. I guess they don't really care about raising money for charity and instead just don't want to work to sort through, accept and sell items. If you are looking to help out a charity or the people of the community do not donate here."
