"My husband and I had a wonderful dinner date here at kpub. We’ve never been here before but wanted to give it a try. The food was great and the service was more than we had ever experienced. Sunny was our waitress and she took such great care of us. Sunny, thank you for giving us a special dining experience!!!"

"The place was nice and seating was good. Menu is definitely overpriced. Tried asking for info on there suppliers because soju should never be 20$ a bottle. Food was prepared well, but could definitely tell that they are currently understaffed. Server did all the cooking, but we intervened a bit while she was table hopping. A bit concerned about the raw meat tongs touching already cooked food. However, The meal was not bad. Expect to pay around $200 after tip for two people to enjoy a good meal. Hopefully they get off the ground they have the potential to be great."

"Edit: Woke up the next day with killer diarrhea. Below average experience. The food was plain, and the service was chaotic. The waitresses weren’t so enthusiastic working here. I’m guessing the vast majority of the furniture here were from Yes Bistro, the previous restaurant (the entrance mat says “Yes Bistro” on it). The price point is not worth the experience. Go to Yakishabu or HotSpot instead. We ordered the Combo D: + The rice was good enough = Side dishes were lacking in flavor = Food (meats) was plain, hardly any seasoning. = Entrance mat says “yes bistro” (the previous restaurant’s mat, I chuckled at this) - Had to ask for water, table wasn’t prepped - No napkin dispenser, had to ask - Confusion amongst ordering: Several waitresses came by to “verify” our order every 10 minutes (result: ordered at 6pm, food came by around 7pm) - Refilled the wrong soda, filled Sierra Mist when Mountain Dew was requested"

"TLDR: one server kept forgetting our sauce to eat the meat with, forgot a fork that we needed for a disabled person, and refused to serve us an item that was included in the set menu. never had a refill for water, server doubled down saying we needed to tip 20% for korean bbq that we cooked on ourselves and neglected service. we tried giving them the benefit of the doubt for their first day of opening. we were patient. they forgot to give us a fork to eat with given that we had a person with an injury who was unable to use chopsticks. we asked multiple times but we understood how frantic they were. they then forgot to serve us our egg that we ordered with our food. we asked several servers but they kept saying it was coming - to the point that they said it was not included on the combo even though it was clearly listed. they also forgot to give us sauce to eat our meat with - we asked and never brought it out. i understand the stress that comes with the first day of opening, so we still gave a tip and the lady specifically specified that we NEEDED to give a 20% tip for korean bbq service that we cooked our own food and waited 20 minutes for a grill change. it was ridiculous and the first time i have ever experienced such nasty service from one server. i said i would come back in the future but not after that really terrible rude experience. see menu that included the set items but we never received."
