"While my party of 6 usually make things harder rather than easier... but, we couldn't have been happier. Honestly. If you posted a bad review before. Try it again. They are DIALED in. I feel like some of the negative reviews have to do with prices? You're eating seafood... lol..... if you're broke just say so. Get yourself a filet a fish at McDonald's. We ordered nearly the whole menu. All our food was hot. Waiter Chris was only 4 hours on the job and knocked it outta the park. I consider myself a big foodie and eat at tons of the local restaurants, they had A tier service and A tier food. Nice. Quietish place (we were probably the loudest ones there to be honest.) Front of the house came to check on us and how everything was. Chef came out to thank us for dining. Honestly. We don't know them one bit as this is just an honest review and everything was a HOMERUN. Go here, thank me later."
"Over all the experience was good. Our waiter Nate, was amazing! The cheesecake is to die for!!!!! Chowders were good, halibut chowder was my favorite. However, the halibut sandwich was dry and little to no flavor. Definitely want to try dinner menu, seems like they have a lunch and dinner menu, get different menu depending on time you go."
"Brand new restaurant, it’s only been open for 3 days when we went on 3/8/24. We went at 5pm on Friday evening. They ONLY take reservations right now. First impression is it’s a nice, new looking restaurant with nice lights and nothing on the walls. Video of walk to table is included. We tried to order a chowder flight but they were out of the tomato basil soup which was the primary reason my wife wanted to try this place out. So we skipped the chowder and went for an appetizer. It took about 30 minutes to come out. Burrata Bruschetta appetizer. Very good. The flavor profile was really on point. However, I would’ve liked a little more burrata so I could have a taste of the key piece of this appetizer in every bite. Would order this again. The main meal came out 5 minutes after the appetizer which was perfect timing for us. Twin fillet Oscar style. Would NOT recommend. I feel cheated by them calling it a twin fillet. I have never seen such a skinny fillet mignon in my life. All they did was take a regular fillet mignon and cut it in half (or maybe even thirds). They were between 1/4 - 1/2 inches thick (see video). A steak this thin also means it’s hard to not overcook. My medium rare order was a solid medium/medium well. There was super salty and watery crab meat slopped on top. Did not look appetizing at all. The watery, pre frozen crab just didn’t taste good at all. Highly recommend you stay away from this dish. Paying $68 for this dish left me feeling pretty ripped off. I’ll stick with Texas Roadhouse in the future. They won’t slice a great steak in half to try to fool me there. Lobster roll. Good but nothing special. Menu didn’t say anything about French fries coming with this item so we were surprised when it came with them. We would’ve loved the opportunity to switch them out for veggies. Bottom line. I’ll try this place again in a few months after they figure their business out, but will probably stick with the chowder and lobster grilled cheese next time. I feel like that was the center piece of this restaurant idea, so we’ll give it one more try. I definitely won’t order any of their primary steak or seafood meals ever again for fear that I’ll be ripped off. They’ve lost my trust for sure with the steak. I left feeling like I did not get enough dinner."
"Made reservations and were seated immediately. We came for lunchtime. The inside was so beautiful and clean. The waiter was very attentive . The food came and everything taste fabulous! Portions are good. We got the soup flight and chowders. Lobster and philly cheesesteak , avocado salad and crab cake. Such a great addition to Anchorage. Looking forward to coming back."
