Larson's Pizza Joint

"I found this place trying to find a good local restaurant where my partner & I could order pickup after work. I have gone in to eat once and my partner twice now. We have ordered food for pickup more times than I can remember now & the food has been fantastic every single time. They have the best pizza I have ever had in Alaska. My partner had some of their pasta and loved it. My partner also has a lactose intolerance and none of their food has upset their stomach. Not even the pizza! But we do take regular vitamins to help digestion and such so experience may vary. lol Prices are great compared to a lot of other local places and they even have a point reward system so you can get discounts as we had enough to take $9 off an order and other discounts. The staff was great with pickup or dine in & we loved their seats. We don't want to support the national food places so finding a good local place we really like has been difficult. I highly recommend you try this place."

"Absolutely amazing pizza and wonderful service on my first visit and I can't imagine that changing with another visit which I plan on making soon. I'm not an expert but I worked at a pizza place for about 5-6 years and I don't say this lightly that this is the best pizza I've had in Wasilla or Anchorage and yes I've been to the Moose's Tooth but this still tops it for me. Fast and friendly service with quality toppings. I like to test a pizza place with their Hawaiian pizza and the Hawaiian they have with jalapenos is delicious. Would recommend and can't wait to get back and try another pizza. Worth the price for sure. Oh and the cheesy bread was delicious along with the ranch and marinara sauce."

"My wife and I live about a mile away. We went a week after they opened and it was good. Then I got it again, and it was a little better. Now, getting a cheese pizza and a set of wings tonight, it is even better. The pizza has an amazing sauce. the crust is very fluffy with a nice crisp browning on it. The wings are some of the best we have had, we just got a plane, but they were very nice to eat, with crispy skin and tender on the inside. We 100% have made this our go-to spot to get pizza, chicken strips, and wings!! Not to mention the owner and staff is all very, very kind!"

"I was visiting Alaska and stopped by Larson’s and was extremely pleased. I ordered a basket of fries that came out hot and crispy. They were so amazing that I didn’t need any ketchup or ranch at all. I also ordered a large pizza; half pepperoni half reindeer sausage. Wow! Both sides were great, but the reindeer sausage is top notch for sure! The crust was the perfect texture; soft inside with a slight crisp on the outside. The dough had incredible flavor and was rolled out to the perfect thickness where it wasn’t too thin or too thick. The sauce was so natural tasting with lots of flavor. As you can tell, every aspect was fantastic. The waitress gave us her honest option about her favorite and she was spot on. Also, the owner came out to talk to an older couple near us. He was telling the older man that if anyone has an allergy or some kind of special need, he is able to make them something special as long as they give him a few hours notice. He was extremely kind and accommodating. He truly cares about his customers and his cooking. Props to an amazing place!"
