"Customer service is worthless! No one there wants to work, everyone was rude all the time at down to management. Owner should look at their staff and retrain them!!! Saturday morning, fairly empty and no one wants to man the counter to take our order…. Leaving us to use the kiosk. Take a table number and it’s says it will be delivered to our table. Workers shouting out numbers and not delivering food. Constant foul language behind the counter and handing out free food to their friends and family that happen to walk in after us. So I’m pretty sure my order was given away twice!"
"The food was obviously sitting for a while. I knew better than to eat any more of my meal and threw it out instead. My husband ate his meal and got sick."
"I ordered a cheeseburger with extra pickles. The worker who took the order put "extra onions" on the order. There weren't even any extra onions, so they got that incorrect, too. The burger was lukewarm and dry. The fries were kind of cold. However, they were friendly. The chicken nuggets were fresh and hot. There were lots of napkins given. They got the sauce I requested, correct."
"I came to this place a couple times since I've been in Anchorage (usually cook my own breakfast, but on travel.) And this was the second time this week that I ordered a sausage McMuffin with egg. The first time I ordered this was on Wednesday this week, and the egg was not cooked throughly at all. So I threw it away and went about the day. Well, I went back and ordered the same thing today, Friday -- which today's egg was cooked a bit more, but not by much. And I ate a bit more of it, but still threw it away. (Waste of money) So today, I decided to call the store, and the manager asked if I had my receipt (that's not the point of any of this...) and I say,"No. I'm just asking if you can cook the eggs more." Her reply, "We never get any complaints about our eggs." I just said, "I'm asking for you to please cook the eggs more." Her reply was, "Yeah, okay." (Mind you, her tone was pretty dismissive) Now I could go on and on about her response like, just because no one hasn't let y'all know yet doesn't mean it isn't happening. It's also not about getting anything free or replaced. It's about cooking the eggs more. Why can't people just hear the message nowadays?"
"Ordered a coke and mchicken. McCHICKEN was delicious as usual. I personally use it as a form of currency calculator. The coke was watered down. I filled out a survey with my experience. Spent a thoughtful five minutes on the survey. At the end of the survey it had a code to redeem some sort of deal or price or something else nebulous. I went inside to redeem my just reward. They only have kiosks here so I pressed the help button on the kiosk. No help came. A thoughtful couple behind me bemoaned the service as they were also not being assisted. I waved down a reluctant and ultimately helpful person. The individual told me that this McDonald’s doesn’t do that. I asked why did I do the survey. He shrugged. He was right to shrug. It was my choice to do the survey with no promise of reward. My hopes were brought up when one was promised, but dashed just as quickly. I will ultimately return to this McDonald’s when I feel the need. How could I not? I am but a man."
